Delete Your Account
SWAVE — account & data deletion instructions
You can permanently delete your SWAVE account and all associated personal data at any time. There are two ways
to do it.
Option 1 — Delete it yourself, inside the app (recommended)
- Open the SWAVE app and sign in.
-
Go to
Settings → About → Delete Account
.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
What happens when you delete your account:
-
Deletion takes effect
immediately
.
-
Your profile, favorites, watch history, and subscription linkage are permanently removed and
cannot be recovered
.
-
You can create a new account with the
same email address
at any time afterward — deletion does not block re-registration.
-
Deleting your SWAVE account does not automatically cancel an active Apple/Google subscription. Cancel it
separately from your App Store / Google Play subscriptions if you no longer want to be billed.
Option 2 — Can't access the app? Email us
If you no longer have access to the app (lost device, uninstalled, etc.), send a deletion request from the email
address registered to your account to:
blueming333@gmail.com
Please use the subject line
Delete My Account
. We will verify the request and delete the account and its data; this may take a few business days to process
manually, unlike the immediate in-app path above.
What data is deleted
Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes your authentication record (email address and any linked
Google / Apple sign-in), your profile, your favorites, your watch history and progress, your episode unlocks,
your subscription records, and the in-app activity events stored in our database against your account.
What is kept, and for how long
-
Purchase and tax records.
We are legally required to keep records of transactions. These are retained for the period the law requires,
in a form no longer linked to your account — the account reference on those records is
erased at the same moment your account is deleted.
-
Routine backups and server logs.
Copies may briefly persist in the encrypted backups and logs held by our infrastructure providers until those
age out on their normal retention schedule. They are not used for any other purpose.
See our
Privacy Policy
for the full list of data we collect and how it maps to deletion.
